Scotch Tasting

I know very little about whisky, but I’ve discovered that I like Scotch.  From what I’ve tried, it seems that my preference tends towards Scotch single malts.  I would like to explore the various options and hone my palate.  While a tour of the homeland, Scotland, would be fabulous in its own right, I think that a simple local whisky tasting experience  would satisfy this bucket list item.
